She began her legal career in the energy sector, holding key roles in Legal and Corporate Compliance at industry leaders such as GE Oil & Gas, BP, and Exterran.
Background
Elizabeth later transitioned to the fashion and beauty sectors, serving as Director and Senior Counsel for JCPenney and Sephora. In these roles, she led business operations, ESG initiatives, compliance programs, and ethics strategies. She then joined Target’s legal affairs team as Director of Corporate Governance, where she advised the CEO and board of directors on strategic legal, compliance, and risk matters.

Elizabeth transitioned to sports where she served as Chief Compliance Officer, Deputy General Counsel, and Senior Vice President for Varsity Brands, where she oversaw legal, compliance, and enterprise risk functions.
